If you are looking for Indian food, this is not the place. We enjoy Indian food in many cities across the US and cooking it as well. We were excited to see an Indian restaurant near our part-time home in Siesta Key. The salad (Greek) was just o.k. My husband had chicken masala and cumin potatoes--the chicken had no spice. I also had the cumin potatoes and neither one of us could taste any cumin. I had saag (spinach) which tasted like it came straight from the can. Two ladies next to us ordered the Greek food and said it was fine. In our opinion, this is not even the Americanized version of the Indian dishes we ordered--very bland and an extreme disappointment. We would in no way recommend Chutneys if you want Indian food.
Pros: It appeared to be a fun place to meet people; quaint and close.
Cons: Food was not good.
