When I first wanted dreads, I went to Oh My Nappy Hair. I found the prices expensive,I had to wait for an hour before she began to do my hair, and she was not in the best of moods, but I was pleased with the outcome. My second visit after waiting 45 minutes for the sulky stylist, she did not have the products to do my hair and she did not have a car. I had to bring her to the beauty supply shop and believe me I was still charged full price but once again I was pleased with the outcome. During my next visit I arrive and waited once again only to find out that the sulky stylist no longer works there and the owner will be doing my hair. She did a nice job but it would have been nice to receive a phone call to know that my stylist no longer was employed there. My next few visits were awful I usually had to wait over an hour for the owner to arrive to open the shop and then had to wait while she set things up. The only reason why I continued going to this salon, I didn't know the area so I did not know any other salons that did dreads. Finally one morning after waiting over an hour, I just left and never returned. Later in the week I saw a person with nice dreads and asked where they got their hair done. I will never go back to Oh My Nappy Hair they do beautiful hair but the service is awful and the shop is not really tidy. It is also true that there are two dogs that are free to roam around the shop.
