There were a number of things I didn't like about this complex, but I never thought about them until I actually lived here. The first is the actual distance this apartment is in general from a decent grocery store or gas station (there's an overpriced convenient store near the entrance I only visited once). The second is the remoteness from people. I never met any of my neighbors, and the excessive trees made the area seem very distant from people. \r

In terms of the management... my job required me to relocate to another city, and I was trying to get out of my contract a little early. The apartment complex wouldn't release me from the lease, but they said they would try to find another leasee if I moved out, and would give me the pro-rated rent of the days I had remaining after a new tenant moved in. There was two months left on the lease, and they told me it would be easy to find a leasee. I cleaned out my apartment and moved out. Instead of finding a leasee, the management took their time and installed brand-new carpeting (while I was still paying on the lease). I felt I was being taken advantage of. They also made my apartment last on their list for occupation (since it was still being paid for, there was no hurry to fill it). Two months after my lease expired, I called back to see if someone had taken over the lease early. It turns out, they had occupied the apartment 3 days before my lease expired, but had not made plans to give me those three days pro-rated rent (which amounted to $80). After patiently annoying them, two months later I eventually saw a check for $80. But the whole thing left me feeling a little bitter about the management here.
Pros: It was cheap, in reasonable condition.
Cons: Far away, and I wasn't happy with the management.
