I've never left a review before but I felt compelled to leave one this time. The first time I went to Parlor I saw Gwen and my experience was OK. I was wearing my hair straight at the time and although she did not do a horrible job on my hair, it was nothing spectacular, boring and bland. I've been to Tina 2 times and this is when I decided to work with my natural, wavy hair. The last time I went to see her I tried my best to describe what I wanted and I was pretty clear about it. Unfortunately I was not happy with the cut. My hair still looked heavy and all one length and it was not what I wanted. I've never called a salon to go back for a recut but I did it this time and it was a HUGE mistake. She started to cut my hair dry(mistake) and now it looks choppy, fluffy and I can't control it, it's a nightmare. I hope that people with curly and wavy hair go to this salon with caution. I now have to wait months for my hair to grow out and find another salon that I can trust, which is difficult. I originally chose this salon because they use Aveda products, that's really what motivated me to go there. Just beware wavy/curly haired girls!
