I absolutley love Lauren's! I started going to Lauren's with my mother on our mother-daughter day outs because it is a little too expensive on my 18 year old wallet. But I've come to realize that you pay for quality, and that $5 more I'm spending is very worth it. The women are sooo friendly there and they treat their regulars really well. For example...They love me; I'm there often and I always tip so they take care of me, I can't remember the last time I paid full price.Their pedicures are very good too. If youre putting on shoes afterwards (as opposed to just slipping on flip flops or the like) they will place a plastic sheath over your toes as not to ruin your polish and put your shoes on for you. The only donside to Lauren's is their waxing. I figured because they were so good at nails they'd be as good at waxing. Unfortunaltey I was wrong. I chose to get my first brazilian wax there. She took me into a little room and asked me to take off my bottoms. In doing research on waxing at other places I thought I was going to bet a paper thong or at least a towel over me. But I was just spread eagle in front of this woman. And I dont think she did a thorough job b/c when i got home i realized there was a tiny bit of stubble in a small patch, and now less than a week later that patch is growing longer. So what was the point? But that doesnt change my idea about Lauren's. It will continue as my favorite salon, I just know that it;s not the place for a wax. \r
