I had been hearing about the chiropractic/ massage stylings of Dr. Suzi from a couple of co-workers so, after waking up this morning not being able to move my neck, I citysearched her. When I showed up for my appointment a few hours later I instantly felt at home. They sat me at a cute little desk in the treatment room to fill out the paperwork and gave me a chocolate and some water to keep me hydrated while I trudged through it. It felt very milk and cookies to me. \r

When Dr. Suzi came in she had this sweet sincere smile. The first thing she did was acknowledge my neck pain and ask if I would be more comfortable lying down or some other position. I'm not used to a doctor taking the time to make me comfortable. After a minute or so, she stopped the questions to get me an icepack. Again, taking time to tend my comfort. After the questions she did a little massage on my neck and then talked to me about my options for getting treated. Of course there was the adjustment but she said that it wasn't the only option and that if I was worried about it that there were other ways. I was worried but I really trusted her so I told her I wanted to try it. She was so gentle with moving my neck. She adjusted my neck in a few different positions and before each one she put my head in the position to make sure it wouldn't be too painful. \r

In the end, I am going to be able to go to work tomorrow and not waste vacation days on a stupid pain in the neck. I rescheduled with Dr. Suzi and I will be passing her cards out to everyone I know.
