I really have to say that I love Modern Salon. I have been going there for 6 years and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. I started going on the advice of a friend after I noticed the fantastic cuts and highlights she had been getting. Then, I found out about the prices and I thought, ""A great cut at a great price, wow!"" Long and Thao have been cutting and highlighting my hair ever since. When I get sick of a hairstyle, I just talk to them and they seem to read my mind about the change I want. Long is truly an artist and it shows. He has talked me into hairstyles I was not too sure about (like getting bangs!) and they always turn out fabulous. He is one of those hairstylists that can look at you and tell you exactly how you should wear your hair. Everyone is friendly at the salon and it does seem like a family place. They are all old friends to me now. A lot has been said on this site about waiting too long at the salon, but you are rewarded with a great style! I always bring a book, or magazines, or work to catch up on and the time flies for me. Besides, last time I was treated to a hand massage by the roving massage therapist and she was great too. Next time I just may get a massage! Go and experience it for yourself, but be prepared for it to take a little extra time. You will not be dissappointed.
