I went to Spitzer's as part of a group of 10 people. we were seated on benches in the front and told that a nearby long table would be ours soon, and we could order our food in the meantime. well, that table became available after about 30 minutes, and we started to move over... only to be shooed away by a hostess and told that the table was for another party -- of 5 people!! about 3 minutes later a table that was perfectly suitable for 5 opened up, but they'd already seated this group at a place that could've seated twice as many people. I pointed this out to our server and she said she would go see what was going on, but then she never came back.\r

About 20 minutes later another section of the long table became available and was promptly labeled with a ""reserved"" sign -- then 2 (yes, 2) people sat down there.\r

Long story short: our group of 10, there for dinner, NEVER got a table. We all ate our dinner seated in the waiting area. I'm sure the food would've tasted a lot better (and we would've spent more money and lingered longer) had we actually been given a decent place to eat. APPALLING SERVICE!!\r
