I went here for lunch on a busy Friday. Room was buzzing, so I had trouble hearing what the manager said to me while I waited near the door. In reply to his question, I said, Excuse me."" With an unusual amount of ferocity, he said, ""What are you waiting for?"" Confused, I said, ""To eat."" He then left. After about 30 seconds, he returned and started excitedly saying, those people are a party one of one. He is a party of one. I stopped him and said I just couldn't hear you; I am a party of one. When he left, I turned to the two men near me and said, what just happened here? Both said they didn't know why he was so upset. The manager returned and started yelling at me. I told him I am don't know why he is talking to me like this because I didn't even say anything to him. He left and the two men said the manager was being rude and diners near us were staring. Before they said that I put on my coat to leave. When the manager came back again and continued yelling, I hurried out the door. I have never been yelled at for saying, excuse me, and will not pay for that kind of service. I am sure it was the stress of the crowd but I will not accept yelling for any reason. I waited until the end of the lunch rush to complain. I was told to call back twice. After the prescribed wait, I was told the manager had just left for the day.
