I love diners and Howie's is just that. We've been going there since Howie opened his place when we lived right down the street and have never had anything but a good experience. Staff is always friendly, food is served fast and good quality. Coming from Philly he has a great cheesesteak and fries and their burgers and meatball sandwiches are excellent too. Best time is for breakfast - omlet, pancakes or waffles. Big portions and hearty. Great place on a Sunday morning and reading the paper. Nothing fancy, but good quality food where everyone actually remembers you and appreciates your business.
