After living in Munich for 9 months I was eager to get some authentic German cuisine in the big city. While they did have some fantastic beer selection the Germans are a much better people than the clownshoes running this place. Our group was having a fantastic time, laughing, drinking eating and just enjoying the night when it became apparent that this was no place to do such a thing. I was quickly notified that this was in fact not the hofbrahaus. Well no sh1t, but I also didn't think I was boozing at the local barnes and nobles. I was told on numerous occasions that the behavior of our group was unacceptable and might be grounds for dismissal from this establishment. Our behavior consisted of us sitting at our table having dinner and a few laughs. They didn't even have un Becks. My grandfather Ludwig Van Wolfhausen would have been ever so upset with the way these ""German"" waitresses treated their customers. Some friends showed up and started gathering around our table, well to my suprise this wasn't permitted either. I politely asked the young lady why the place was like drinking in a tibetan prison camp. She said that we would get kicked out of any bar for acting the way our group did. Us Germans are a proud people and loud and boisterous just may come with that territory. If you are looking to drink some good beer while reading your favorite book then this just may be the place for you. I beg of you do not go expecting to have fun or you will immediately be ridiculed.
