I'd gone to Sport Chalet to buy running shoes and after the most miserable encounter with the employees there, I decided to NOT spend my hard earned money there simply because of the extremely poor customer service. Plus, they did not have the selection of shoes I thought they would. Enter Top to Top. This is a high end/pro shoe place with lots of other stuff (like clothes, gear, etc.) I'm greeted at the door immediately and asked how I can be helped. I say I need shoes. They ask you to take off your shoes, watch you walk, measure your feet, and ask you what type of activity you'd be doing in the shoes. The "Shoe M.D." then makes recommendations based on the feedback you've given them. I couldn't believe the level of professionalism and service they provided. THIS is what service is about, whether you're spending $5 on socks or $120 on shoes. I'll NEVER go back to Sport Chalet and am now a loyal Top to Top customer!
