I leased an apt. from this co. I have always paid my rent. I was commuting to KC MO and would be gone for weeks at a time. I gave the manager my credit card number to run with instructions to do so after 12pm. We agreed if there was any problem that she would call me. Of course I thought my rent was paid, no problem. Well it wasn't, and they did not call me at my emergency contact or on my cell. They admit this. Next time I come home anxious to sleep in my bed, the locks have been changed, and eviction notice taped to my door. The office was well aware that I worked out of town for long jaunts. There was no excuse for their lack of communication since they had called me about other things such as a light fixture.
