Sarah's Pastries & Candies is the cutest shop in Chicago. Even from the outside, you can tell it's going to be a great experience. The white picket fence blocks off tables in the heart of the city (on Oak St., between State and Rush) - definitely a great place to grab a dessert and coffee and people watch. Once you walk through the door, you are greated with the friendliest faces and the most amazing aroma of CHOCOLATE. My favorite chocolate is milk chocolate royaltine - it is milk chocolate mixed with crispy Feuilletine wafer pieces and caramelized almonds. SO DELICIOUS. It was voted one of the top things to eat in Chicago by Time Out magazine.
