This is mediocre Italian food. The mandatory Valet seemed unnecessary. The outside of the restaurant really doesn't cause one to think that it is anything special. Once inside, it is warm and inviting. The wood burning stove is a nice touch.
Appetizer of fried Calamari was tender but pretty average, nothing exciting (we also found coated lemon slices and pieces of celery?). I had the roasted chicken and porcini mushroom risotto. There was no creaminess to this risotto dish. The flavor again, was just okay. My husband had the fettucini puttanesca. He felt that the sauce was over cooked, the seafood in the dish wasn't necessarily fresh and the dish seemed rather dry. The server was friendly, but I felt that we had to wait a very long time between appetizer and entree.
Save a few bucks and go to the Olive Garden. At least you get unlimited breadsticks there.
Pros: nice lighting
Cons: mediocre
