I've been to this new bistro a couple of times now and I find it a lovely spot that with no pretenses tries to do its own thing. Reviewers seem to be hung up on the stemware issue, but I would have to say that if you liked the wine and you found it to be a good value, then let them make a statement with it. In Paris, or anywhere else in Europe for that matter, you are seldom served wine in the finest stemware, especially if you go to a BISTRO!!!! That's the whole point! It's casual and it's rustic.
A bunch of friends and I thought the food was quite nice. The quiche was tasty; the salads were generous and full of fresh ingredients; the fries were crunchy and pleasantly unusual. Service was friendly and prompt.
Overall a nice addition to the casual restaurant panorama in Portland.
Pros: Friendly service, Nice atmosphere, Good food
Cons: Parking
