I cannot believe this restaurant has existed for so long and remains eternally crowded despite its mediocre food and service. Oh wait, it's in Beverly Hills and it's a ""celebrity hangout""... everything comes together now. Not that authenticity is always a concern, but you should know this is about as Americanized ""Chinese"" as you can get. Totally crowded, loud, bad service. I once attended a dinner in the private room upstairs, which was a real disappointment. Seafoam green walls without windows, no artwork... felt like a mental institution or something. Some of the food is downright BAD, other food just bland and forgettable. It is kind of nice that they'll do a tray of lychees if you want it, but they clearly came out of a can. Just... don't go.
Pros: I guess you can see celebrities? But aren't they everywhere?
Cons: food, service, totality of the experience
