I recently relocated to this part of Brooklyn from Manhattan. Being a Manhattanite I can be a bit of a sushi snob and I have been consistently pleased with the sushi here. I work in the village and have tried every place at some point from west 3rd to 18th street. By far Sango beats them all. They make the rolls as soon as you order, so they are always amazingly fresh and full of flavor. There is a great variety here and they use very fresh ingrediants. The people are very friendly and my phone orders have been always correct. The restaurant is not usually full so you can always get a seat and the prices for this quality are an excellent deal.
