i've been going to Niagara for a few years now and have always enjoyed it. i like the music and think the crowd is usually pretty good - not too hipster or pretentious. bartenders know their stuff, although they tend to be unfriendly. a smile and/or eye contact shouldn't be the hardest thing. the bands are usually good and while i can't remember the name off hand, the band that the owner is actually part of plays every once in a while and is defintiely worth seeing.
