I have had the misfortune of getting rear-ended twice within two months. I spent a good week searching the Internet the first time to find a really good body shop in Austin and came across Jeff's on another ratings site. I took my chances and was impressed from the start. I dealt with Joe and could tell immediately that he was genuinely concerned with getting the job done well and quickly. He even called the rental place down the road and made the reservation for me. Now from going to many auto shops over the years, I've learned that very few are able to get your car fixed up exactly when they say, whether it's a mechanic, a tire store, or a body shop. So when it took a couple days longer than the estimate, I wasn't bothered. My car came back in amazing shape. They used all new Honda parts and Honda paint for my Accord. They detailed the car completely, and dealt with the other person's insurance company the whole time, minimizing the amount of time I had to spend worrying and coordinating, and insisting on the company paying them directly so I wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket. After getting rear-ended again a few weeks ago, I took it back to Jeff's and got the same great service. This time they even included a gift of touch-up paint for my rather hard to match color. If you've gotten in a wreck, don't let the insurance company tell you where to take your car (it's illegal for them to make you go to a specific place). I will never take my car anywhere else again.
Pros: honest, helpful, good location, uses new, quality parts
Cons: if you're not using insurance, it could cost you.
