Jackson's Village Bistro was recommended to us by a friend who is a real ""foodie"", but we didn't have to be foodies to know that this place was great! We had the Shrimp Crostini's with Mint Pesto to start and then had the Filet Mignon Risotto with White Truffle Oil and the Ribeye with Crispy Garlic on top - All were fantastic! The owners said that they just remodeled; we thought it looked and felt like a NY bistro - beautiful chandelier with clusters of tables. Prices were reasonable and even thought they have a nice wine list, you can bring your own for a $3 corkage fee. Bring your friends and family to this great southbay find!
