The Ruby had good music, lots of dancing, and a large crowd. The decor was nice, and from a distance, everyone appeared to be pretty badass in an offbeat sort of way. However, once you are actually in the club, looking at the crowd, you realize that it only looks good collectively, and individually, most of the guys are really strange losers who can't pick up girls. If you go just to hang out *exclusively* with your own crowd, it can be pretty fun. You won't find Paris Hilton here, but if you want to get groped by sweaty 30 year olds from urban sprawl, you might hust have yourself a good time.
