Although Avon Food Store was recently renovated, it still looks old and dirty. There is another convenience store across the street, which is a little nicer so I'm not sure how Avon Food Store can expect to stay in business. You can frequently get a good deal in the parking lot, though. For instance, there were several days recently when two men were in the parking lot with a truck full of watermelons for $2 each.
