A great art-deco hotel in Hollywood's hey-day that has turned into a modern nightmare. The new owner remodeled the lobby with fake wood panneling and took out the art-deco charm and character. The rooms are disgusting. When I booked the room I was told there was a fitness center and when I arrived it was being remodeled and I had to pay for a gym pass. The acclaimed Fenix restaurant has been closed indefinitely and replaced by a lobby lounge with great service and horrible food. Please do not support this establishment.
