I had the gumbo and jumbalaya. The gumbo was a tad cool but tasted great. Z'Tejas didn't skimp on the portions of meat and chicken in the soup.
The jumbalaya was superb. It had just the right amount of spiciness. There were hearty portions of chicken and sausage and the whole entree tasted fresh.
My wife had the miso salmon. The salmon was flaky and tasted very fresh. The miso sauce was a nice accompanyment to the fist--not over-powering or distracting.
Our server was a little slow on refilling our water but outside of that the visit was great.
Pros: menu selection, prices, cornbread
Cons: long wait, noisy, crowded
