We just got back from Lone Star, and had excellent service. Helpful and friendly, she paid attention to our kids, and accomodated our requests (extra napkins, butter....). The food did take a while to get to the table, except for the kids's order, which came out quickly. It is loud, but that's ok if your kids start getting rambunctious. It's about the only steakhouse in town that cooks a medium to medium, rather than medium rare.
(And we don't know what's up with the so-called ""Texas Rice,"" but that's the chain's issue, not the individual restaurant's.)
