When I was getting ready to move to San Diego a couple of years ago, I looked around at different movers to drive our furniture down, but kept hearing horror stories from friends and relatives about thier experiences with different moving companies. (from over charging after the move, to furniture never making it there) So we decided to move ourselves and simply rent a moving truck. After researching a few companies, Penske stood out as being the cheapest and having the newest trucks to lease. We had asmooth trip from day one (except for the weather). The truck he got was clean, well cared for and only a year old. Since it was a five day drive for us, it really made a difference to have a good, reliable truck. Pick up and drop off were equally easy and quick. They also have after-hours drop off, where you can just leave the truck on thier lot and drop keys into the mail slot. Very easy and great rates!
