I was pretty disappointed in this place after reading all the positive reviews and hearing they had good barbecue here. On the positive side, the guy at the counter was pretty nice to me, unlike the experiences reported here by other negative reviewers. However, I would have gladly endured abuse if only the barbecue were good. We bought a whole slab of the pork ribs. They were a bit dry and overcooked. The sauces we got were unexceptional. But SF not being a barbecue town, I guess they'll have to do. I'm beginning to lose all confidence in the reviews posted on this website except for the negative ones.
