Three friends from London and my wife & I had one of the most remarkable dining experiences we have ever encountered last Friday (4 June) at Les Nomades. Along with an excellent meal and unpretentious, knowledgeable service we had two beautiful (but very reasonable) bottles of wine (a 1986 Château Lafite Rothschild & a 1966 Saint-Julien). Having eaten there twice before, I would rate Les Nomades heads & shoulders above Everest (Chef Jean Joho) and Charlie Trotter's - no mean feat when you consider the latter two will cost the average diner about double what they will pay at Les Nomades. As a member of The Carlton Club (15 years) and one that has eaten at some of the most exquisite restaurants in the world, this restaurant, indeed, is a Top Five signature oasis.
Pros: excellent food, professional service, reasonable cost
Cons: , not open Sun/Mon, no overnite sleeping
