having been to a lot of Thai restaurants like Nit Noi, Thai Gourmet and Paddy Thai but this restaurant is the best. This restaurant was featured on the Houston Chronicle dining guide on Aug. 29, 2003. I tried it on the same day and has been back 2-3 times a week. The Shu Shee Pla is a wonderful dish of red snapper fillet. There are a lot of other wonderful dishes there like the ever standard Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, Pineapple Fried Rice, Laab and Panang Beef. Among the deserts, Sticky Rice with Mango and Fried Ice Cream stand out. The owners and the staff are very friendly. For wine drinkers, they have a BYOB policy and they do not change corkage for it. Most entrees are 7.95 with specials at 12.95 or so. This is definitely the best value and the best tasting Thai food in Houston.
