I had been wanting to eat here for some time, and thought New Years Eve with my out-of-town guest would be perfect. I called to see if we needed reservations and was told not for just two people. So we get there around 7, and get the coattail cousin treatment. After challenging my explanation of why I had no reservation (just short of calling me a liar), one waiter heaved a sigh, and condescended to make room. I took my guest and my money to Phonecia on Alki and was treated like royalty by the owner.
