While I agree Killington does offer some great fall colors viewing, you missed it by a few miles. Vermont Route 4 which takes you to Killington also runs through the quaint community of Woodstock, VT. The most photographed road in all of Vermont during Fall is Cloudland Road. Take Route 12 north out of Woodstock to the Billings Farm turn right on to Riover Road and take your first left which is Cloudland...its a sectacular drive in fall. I know I lived ther for five years.
