When I first went to the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store(1996), I was traveling back to North Carolina to see my husband who was just back from Egypt with the Army. While on the road, my Dad stopped at a Cracker Barrell in Nashville. I said to my Dad ""We are NOT eating here. Are we?"" We went inside and the atmosphere was wonderful and the food was the best. It ended up being the talk of the trip. Grandma's Breakfast Sampler with Cherry Pancakes is the best. My husband and my children love it. Now anytime we want breakfast, we go to Cracker Barrel. Now thanks to my Dad, Who needs IHOP?!
Pros: no wait on weekday, call for carry out, buy old country stuff
