I used to go to Dakota Roadhouse when I worked downtown. I've been working in midtown for 2 years, but still go & meet friends from my old job down there. There's great on tap beers, a fun juke box & yummy comfort food (best onion rings ever). My friends love the 3 pool table. It's a huge space with a bizarre decor that works (mixture of street and booze signs & truly odd things like a full side croc (or is it an alligator) suspended from the ceiling strewn with neckties abandoned in the bar (including 1 of mine--I swear)). The crowd is mostly yuppyish, but its pretty mixed. By the way, I'm gay & I hang there with my straight friends. I'm not particularly flambouyant, but I've never had a problem (I even met a nice guy there one night, but he had a long term boyfriend).
Pros: Great Comfort Food, Eclectic Juke Box, Free ATM
