There's no reason to go to the Smoke House except for their world famous cheese garlic bread. It is soooo good. Best I've ever had. It's really that simple.
The menu hasn't changed since the restaurant opened many decades ago. And that wouldn't be such a problem if the food were still good meat and potato fare. But it's not. I hate to say it, but you can almost get comparable if not better food at Sizzler.
The bar area could be very classy and should have capitalized more on the Swingers craze in the 90s, but it never got with the program. Instead, it's cheapened itself with promotional crap from beer companies and plastic streamers. Too bad. They really used to have a good thing going.
Pros: best garlic bread, live jazz, old school decor
Cons: boring menu, cheesy bar area
