JFK is in my opinion an horrendously huge airport and getting from one terminal to another is quite a hassle! There aren't sufficient guides to tell you where to go for what and it is a nightmare for first-time travellers! Construction all over the place, especially in the American Airline terminals 8 & 9 make it that much more difficult to move around and add messy to that list!
