We live in Westchester county but every so often we take the train to Grand Central and come to Manhattan for a dinner or a Broadway show or sometimes for shopping for bargains.
After seeing all these TV commercial about cash for gold I decided to make use of some old jewelry that was stuck in the bottom of the drawer. I friend from friends and internet that the tv company is not always the best deal so I wanted to go to 47th street to see what I can get for them.
It's always a pleasure to deal with professional that are understanding and patience. When I walked in to Shenoa I was greeted and offered assistance. I explained that I had some old jewelry and diamonds which wanted either sell for cash or make them in to something new.
I was given a value of the diamonds and gold which was higher than the number I got from our local jeweler on the Main street. Local jewelers are always nice people to deal with but they can't compete with established store in the Diamond District like Shenoa. I thought about getting the cash but knew that I would just spend it on clothing or shoes so I wanted them to give me some ideas on a new fashion ring.
After emailing back and forth few times I decided on a beautiful and fun ring design and the good thing was they made use of some of my old gold and diamonds, talking about going green and recycling :)
All I had to do was come back to the city to pick it up and paid the difference in cost which was only few hundred, less than two tickets for a Broadway show. I couldn't be happier with the service and quality I received from the great guys at Shenoa.
