I'm a Texas girl who was "transplanted" to Utah temporarily. I had been missing good BBQ, so when Goodwood opened, I was excited and couldn't wait to check them out! When I did, I have to admit, I was disappointed. I ordered a brisket platter, and was surprised when there were only 3 or 4 small pieces of brisket on the plate. It was kind of tough and I actually had to lather on the BBQ sauce just to make it moist. I'm used to brisket that falls apart because it's so tender. The atmosphere is nice, but I thought it was a bit pricey, too. I guess maybe my standards were just a little too high.
