I have been bringing dogs, cats and birds to KBAA since 1991. Dr. Giddings was the best of the best but he left years ago and I have continued to go for convenience. Last year I had a sick cat and, after two physicals, two urine tests and radiology (and bringing a bird for clipping wings and nails for over $30), I quickly had a bill of over $560. Due to unfortunate circumstances, $200 of the bill went unpaid and KBAA sent the bill to collections. I have now paid the bill in full and received a manilla envelope in the mail. I was notified that I will not be allowed to return and bring any of my animals ever again. I never missed paying before in 25 years, and had a reason I did explain. Anthony at the front desk was very personable and understanding but anyone who goes to collections is booted. No exceptions. I can go somewhere else, but I am very saddened that the service seems to have lost the reason why people were going there in the first place.
