This woman portrays herself as a professional, yet, she is not. I read reviews before I met with her and decided to give her a try because, honestly, she was convenient to my office. At first, she was incredible. I was so happy because I felt I could trust her and felt that we had a good connection. Things went well for about 5 sessions until I told her I was unable to afford her anymore. Then the tables turned. I advised her that I would be able to afford 2 more weeks at the beginning of our last session (I decided not to return after my experience that day). She turned into a completely different person. She became antagonistic about feelings I was expressing and extremely confrontational. When I would say so, she immediately turned and said that no, it was me overreacting, or reading into what she was saying, or hearing "what I wanted to think she was saying." It was horrible. I left the office in tears and never went back. This woman should not be able to accept patients. I went to her because I needed help. She made me trust her and then attacked every weakness that I brought up and told me it was my fault. She actually said at one point, "you are upset because you told me those things and wanted me to say, 'no, it wasn't your fault,' and I won't say that." How is that helpful from a therapist? Perhaps another, more constructive statement could have been more helpful. I will never again go to any therapist after this experience. If you need to talk to someone, pick someone else.
