We had our A/C go out on Thursday, we called our home warranty company (American Home Shield) and they scheduled A&P to come look at our unit. A&P scheduled a time for us to meet them at our house: between Noon and 4pm the following Tuesday.
The weekend was especially hot, over 100 degrees each day, and it was not fun without an air conditioner.
Tuesday morning, I get a call at 8:30 stating that A&P would be at my house in 30 minutes!!?! I had to go to great lengths to move my schedule around & be home between Noon and 4pm, now they are showing up at 9am?!? I told them I would be unable to meet them until noon, as we agreed.
They told me they are having some scheduling issues (because an employee was injured) and they would not be able to be there between noon and 4pm. They offered to reschedule for NEXT THURSDAY. I told them that is unacceptable, but they are unwilling to come today. I explained that, when we have an employee out, I have to work overtime to make up for it - they should too. This is ridiculous. Their dispatcher could care less about my inconvenience, only worried about THEIR inconvenience.
I'm calling American Home Shield and demanding that they no longer recommend A&P.
