The following review is for Alpine Physical Therapy in Bend, Oregon.
All I can say is wow. I went to Alpine Physical Therapy for one session and that was one I won’t forget.
First off, there was a dog in the physical therapy room. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs! However, the therapist allowed his dog to root around in my things that were sitting on the floor. Once the black lab knocked over my backpack, coat, and hat and the therapist did nothing about it, I had to snap fingers and tell the dog to stop. Otherwise this would have gone on much longer. Later in the appointment the dog came back into the room and started to lick my shoes. Yes, that’s right. Lick my shoes. All the while the therapist did nothing about. How unprofessional does it get?
I’ll tell you…it gets worse.
When asked what I do for a living and what I like to do for fun, I was scoffed at. It’s no secret that I love the outdoors; hunting, fishing, riding my dirt bike, etc. This guy was a pure hippy and since I ride dirt bikes and spend my time outdoors hunting, he must have thought I was the scum of the Earth.
I know you’re thinking that’s pretty unprofessional. Well, it gets worse!
I’m lucky I’m not terribly self-conscious! While he was working on my shoulder, he left the door to the physical therapy room wide open. Here I am, sitting in a chair facing the door with no shirt on while people walk by and peek in.
DUDE! Close the door and kick your damn dog out!
Pro Tip: Don’t scoff and judge your customers for what they do. Don’t bring your freaking dog to work. What if I had an allergy or was scared of dogs?
In conclusion this was the absolute WORST experience I’ve had at ANY medical facility and that’s including the time I spent over seas in Thailand! If I have one piece of advice for you it’d be to avoid this place like the plague.
