I went in for an eye exam for glasses and contacts as well as to buy glasses. I planned on buying the cheapest frames and lenses possible to qualify for the $69 two pair and exam promotion. I'm not stupid, I know most people don't walk away paying only $69. I figured I would pay a little under $100 because of the expected extra fee for a contacts exam. I waited for a while for the exam despite having an appointment but nothing too terrible. Afterwards however I waited for at least 30 minutes before I could check out. That's when they told me the bill would be $138! Apparently contact lens exams do not in any way qualify as an eye exam nor is there any credit towards a contact lens exam when you are supposed to receive a free eye exam with the package deal. Nope instead I was charged $69 for the exam and $69 for the glasses. Speaking with the manager was even less helpful. VERY VERY DECEITFUL ADVERTISING! more
