I have been seen by Azalea Gynecology for several years without any problems and, in fact, had excellent quality care. However, at my last visit I was charged for a "sick visit" as well as my "annual well visit" on the same day because of answering provider directed questions. When I called and questioned the charge with the practice manager, he was quite disrespectful to me and insisted that they were within their contractual obligation with BCBS to bill for such charges (BCBS did agree when I questioned the charge). I was not ever told during my visit that I would be charged for 2 visits on the same day. I believe that the provider breached the agreement that they had with me and such changes in billing should have been discussed at the time of the visit. After I made a complaint, I was terminated from the practice. Such a disappointing experience.
