its amazing i have been bowling in maryland since i was 12 at bel air bowl then here at forest hill. and for the most part have enjoyed my time at Forest Hill, but this yr the lanes have been breaking down on a regular basis on tue night and thur night. i have never in my life seen pins that slide on the pin deck the way they are and still stand up, and last night i have seen it all now on a pocket hit i see the 10 spin like a top go off the lane into the gutter and then spin back up and stand on the lane i may not be a rocket scientist buts its pretty apparent that maintenance of the lanes is not up to the standards that it use to be kept at. when you can stand on lane 40 and look down toward lane 1 and see the gaps in the racks that shouldnt be there if they were maintained in a consistent manner come on as league bowlers we deserve to have a descent set of conditions and lane equipment that isnt malfunctioning anywhere near the amount that it is. without these malfunctions we could get our bowling done in a timely manner so that the next league doesnt complain about having to wait to get on the lanes. and p.s how about getting the intercoms working so you dont have to yell to the counter or walk up there to tell them whats wrong im not asking for the world but i pay good money to bowl here and would hope to get what i pay for.
