I had planned a romantic getaway and made my reservation with the Manager, Mr. Kapoor, for a specific date - the only weekend available for travel to Virginia. Although I had the confirmation number I still called back a couple of hours later to confirm the upcoming stay and Mr. Kapoor answered the phone confirming the date and reservation.
While en route to Virginia and the hotel I called to let them know I would be arriving around 6 pm only to learn that Mr. Kapoor had reserved the room for a different weekend AND all other fine hotels were booked solid due to some convention. This was no error, there was no confusion - I had reserved the room for the specific date AND had called back and confirmed that specific date. I had no where to stay in Shockhoe or Can Can.... I will never go there again or refer someone to the Commonwealth.
