Because this is an historic hotel, we chose to stay in the original part of the hotel. The rooms were smaller than people expect today, but everything was there that was needed and it was nicely decorated. The view of the patio from the window was great. The hotel has the true atmosphere of a time gone-by--when movie stars stayed at the hotel. The restaurant and bar carry though with this. We had two great meals here and the staff was wonderful. It's in an older part of town so the surroundings aren't anything to write home about, but it's easy to get to and the parking and security is great.
