This hair salon is in a strip mall off the Clairemont Mesa 805 freeway. The hair salon seems almost tucked away in this area. I scheduled an appointment with Lana for a Brazilian ...

Best hair salon for eyebrow shaping and japanese straightening 1/21/2011

Here's the thing with Hair Delight Salon. I've been going to Hair Delight for 8 years to get Japanese straightening and eyebrow shaping. They do an incredible job, are reasonably priced, and their service is fantastic. They are a full service salon and can handle anything from Brazilian waxing to eyelash extensions, I love this hair salon. I would stay away from some of the hair stylist in this salon and just use Lana, Amy, or Nikki. Nothing personal, its just when I pay with my hard earned money I want the best hair stylist to handle my hair. These girls also know how to shape eyebrows really well. I get compliments on my eyebrows a lot. Been to all the top rated hair salons in San Diego and the girls here just simply have more experience. You won't find any new hair stylist out of beauty school here, just the best of the best at an affordable price. more

Hair salon for the best highlights 1/5/2011

Lana's my girl!! Got my hair color done yesterday and it seriously looks the best it ever has. She always does incredible work, but yesterday was extra different. She did a gorgeous chocolate base color and then added the most gorgeous hair highlights that were so natural looking. Very beachy,...they start more natural at the root then got lighter and the ends. They almost looked painted on. I went shopping at La Jolla Cove after I got my hair done, and 2 different girls came up to me inquiring who did my hair color. And of course I said the infamous Lana at Hair Delight Salon! Love you girl! more

Picky Client Finally Satisfied 12/12/2010

I so want to cry of happiness... I finally found the hairdresser who knew her hair and who could satisfy, oh so picky, Charlotte. After reading many reviews, I went to Hair Delight Salon and got a haircut from Lana and she was amazing. She knows how to use her tools. He used a few different types of scissors and a razor. She knew exactly when to use what tool to create the look I was looking for. It was my first time not having to explain what I wanted at lengths. My year and a half of searching for the best hair stylist in San Diego is finally over. Lana is the only one who will be cutting my hair from now on as long as I live in San Diego. more

Good hair salon 10/17/2010

The pricing for services is the best thing about this salon. I live by La Jolla and go to UCSD. Around here its not hard to find a good salon, its just hard to find a good hair stylist that is consistent with delivering results. I found my favorite stylist here and her name is Lana. I get my hair straightened every quarter and she does the best yuko hair straightening treatments. Other salons i've gone to skimp on the hair straightening solution, not with Lana. Lana makes sure my head is fully saturated with the solution and doesn't take shortcuts. Straightening my hair with the Yuko method has saved me so much time in the morning. I never have to flat iron my hair now before class. She also handles all my coloring, cut, and hair highlights flawlessly. more

Friendly and affordable services 8/31/2010

One of the hidden salons in San Diego that have best hair stylist regardless of cost. I suggest booking your appointment with Nikki for hair extensions/skin care, or Lana for hair straightening and hair coloring. Even the best salons in the mall are overrated compared to the hair stylist at Hair Delight. It's so hard finding a consistent salon that charges a fair rate for services and up to the latest trends. If there is one service I would not go anywhere else regardless of the cost it would be the hair coloring. Lana is the best hair colorist in San Diego and her brazilian blowouts will leave you in awe. more
