I've been a patient at the Womens Healthcare Group since I moved to the Kansas City area in 1995. I chose to visit a nurse midwife instead of a doctor simply because it was easier to get in to see the midwives.
I had the pleasure of meeting Kelly Elliot, PHD, CNMW. She was my nurse midwife and delivered 2 of my children. She was there with me all the way through labor and each time made the experience actually pleasant.
Kelly is no longer with the practive because of a medical disability :( I miss her, but am now on my third pregnancy and am seeing Kara Winkler, CNMW. Kara is great as well and I look forward to getting to know her!
Every single staff member that I've met at the Womens Healthcare Group has been kind and professional. Their service is great and I'm lucky I found them on the first try when I moved here!
