I called Myke right away and we spoke about what I was looking for and what he could offer me. I felt comfortable talking with him immediately. After the initial Master Session (which incorporates Life Coaching, NLP and Hypnotherapy), I felt an immediate difference in my attitude. I have since been back for 2 Tuning Sessions and feel that the work Myke is leading me through is completely invaluable. While visiitng LA, I decided to get a massage as a birthday treat. It turned out to be a wonderful way to start a new page. Chris initially sat me down and discussed my body issues/needs. He aslo asked me about any spiritual intention I might wish to achieve from the experience. Towards the end when I felt levitated, he paused and reminded me that this calming good place is where I should retuirn when everyday life gets hectic. The atmosphere is so soothing and calming that before you even reach the massage table you already feel more at ease. Not to mention the care and attention Chris takes before even beginning to get to know you and address your specific needs and concerns. I felt like I was in the best hands before the hands were even on me. Chris makes a point of working with you the client in a shared experience and he and your body begin a dialogue of healing. I have never before been so relaxed and present in a massage session and I know it is because of the atmosphere that Chris creates. He has an uncanny way of communicating with your body. I always thought that I needed really rough deep massage to get at the heart of my body pain and injuries, but after working with Chris I have a new understanding about what a good healing massage is actually like. Let me start by saying that I NEVER write reviews, but after having a session with Chris at Zykoff Bodywork & Hypnotherapy I felt it was necessary. I've had lots of massages over the years, but I have never experienced someone as intuitive as Chris. He took the time before the massage even began to verbally find out what it was that I needed, rather than just reading some form and going from there. He addressed all of my problem areas and as new things arose during the session, he was quick to shift his attention and help resolve those. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing--the rest of the world faded away for the brief time I spent there. I will definitely be going back soon. more

I was given a certificate to see Myke for a birthday gift by someone who thought I needed some tension relief. I was able to talk to Myke before starting my massage. He wanted to know where the tension was rooted and how this could be avoided before. I like the idea of prevention instead of always thinking of treatment. My brother had some body work done by Myke a couple of weeks ago and he recommended that I too, see Myke. I'm really glad I did. I've had a lot of body work done over the years and have had some real wing-dingers for therapists, places where they tell you to ""hop up on the table"" and then go at your spine with their pointy elbows digging in between the vertebra. Myke is truly a professional care giver-he talks with you about what you're feeling and what you need or what has been on your mind lately, what aches and pains or issues you might have, and then he custom tailors a message session that takes care of your personal needs and wants. He really listens to what you say, and as he's working on your body, you can tell that he took into account all that you both had discussed and he makes it a priority to address those areas, gently coaxing your body into a deep state of relaxation, never forcing it. By the end of the session I truly felt balanced and re-energized, but in a totally relaxed and zen state of energy. I was at Myke's studio a week ago and I'm still enjoying the after-effects. more

For the past ~15 years, the tension in my neck and shoulders has been so bad that I have felt like I needed a massage constantly. I also tried all the different methods for relief- chiropractor, different body work places, massage chairs, physical therapy, yoga. Each one of those did not relieve the tension for very long and I was constantly stretching or moving around to adjust around the pain. I recently read about Myke on this site and he sounded like someone that might be able to help with both the chronic aches and pains I seem to always be having due to my work on the computer all day long, and for my other day-to-day stress and tensions. I have been a client for at least 5 years and drive 20 miles each way for the experience Myke gives, I call it an experience more than a service.
